Welcome to the Tuition Classification website. Here you will find information on how to change your tuition classification to Resident or if you qualify for an out-of-state tuition waiver. We also help students update their immigration status if it changes while they are enrolled. Please review our FAQ page for most of the answers you probably have. It is the student's responsibility to ensure they are registered under the correct tuition classification every term. Every student has 60 days from the first day of school to apply to change their tuition classification for the current term. WE DO NOT MAKE CHANGES PAST OUR DEADLINES (THAT INCLUDES PRIOR TERMS AND PRIOR FISCAL YEARS).

We are currently accepting applications for in-state tuition petitions and waivers for SUMMER 2018 & FALL 2018. The deadline has passed for Spring 2018.
Please note the deadlines below for the term you are applying for in-state tuition.

Deadlines to submit documentation for SUMMER 2018 are as follows:
If you register March 19-May 7: April 30
Early Registration Payment Deadline: May 7
If you register May 10-May 14: June 6
Final Payment Deadline: June 13

Deadlines to submit documentation for FALL 2018 is July 31!
Payment Deadline is August 7.
Last and final day for any changes to Fall 2017 is October 12 (date is subject to change)!
